There's always a first time AKA Scratchpad
While I would like to have my very first blog post be the most brilliant thing ever written, I also know that I'd never get past the rough draft as I await genius to descend upon me. One tip I give my writing students, and something that has also worked well for me in my new career in design, is to ruin the first page and move very quickly on to the second page. Expect to suck, get past it, and you're on your way.

So here I am. On my way. Embarking, one might say. Stay tuned for, if not brilliance, a slightly sarcastic, overly cynical, yet disarmingly hopeful take on the passing scene.
